Sandy Whiskers Tours and Travel

At Sandy Whiskers Tours and Travel, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and this policy outlines our cancellation and refund terms.

1. Booking & Deposits

A deposit of 30% – 50% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received. Deposits are non-refundable, except where stated otherwise.

2. Client-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellation charges apply as follows: More than 30 days before departure: Refund of total amount paid minus deposit. 15–30 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost is refundable. 7–14 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost is refundable. Less than 7 days before departure or No-Show: No refund. Refunds will be processed within 14–21 business days after cancellation approval.

3. Flight & Third-Party Services

Flights, hotel bookings, park fees, visas, and third-party services are subject to the respective provider’s cancellation policies. Sandy Whiskers Tours and Travel is not responsible for non-refundable third-party costs.

4. Changes & Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule at least 14 days before departure, subject to availability. Rescheduling fees may apply. Price differences (if any) must be paid by the client.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

If Sandy Whiskers Tours and Travel cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, government restrictions): Clients will be offered an alternative tour/date, OR A full refund of payments made (excluding third-party non-refundable costs).

6. Force Majeure

No refunds shall be issued for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: Natural disasters Political unrest Pandemics Government restrictions Airline disruptions We will, however, make reasonable efforts to reschedule the trip.

7. Refund Method

Refunds will be processed via: Original payment method, OR Bank transfer / Mobile money (where applicable) Transaction or processing fees may be deducted.
